Paul ... to which state or lakes are you referring ?? Your profile says you are in Alabama, so are you looking for info on Alabama lakes or are you planning on fishing somewhere else that has deep, clear water lakes ??

You may want to leave this thread going "here" .... and put a post on the Ala state forum, to cover all the bases. And, yes ... it would be a good idea to name the lake or lakes you are referring to, so that members that fish those waters will know what to tell you.

You might also tell the Ala members a little about yourself, join in on the discussions, attend some of the functions, and generally let the folks get to know who you are & what you're about ... before asking anything beyond general information. Remember, this site is open to the WWWeb, and there are internet trolls/meathogs that search for blabbermouths that tell too much ... then go pillage that spot. So, get to know some of the members and let them get to know you .... then you will get much more than just "general information".
