    Default Any air fryer recommendations?

Haven't seen any new threads on these since 2013 and prices have come down somewhat. Got questions too...
    Are fillets crisp or soggy?
    Use batter or breading?
How long would it take to fry 30 fillets compared to typical fry daddy?
    Is cleanup easy?
    How is the taste?
    What capacity is best?
Early to bed, early to rise,

NO Grease. Grease is good for you. Plus I think they will be soggy

I'm not a healthy nut by any means just curious, they don't seem to be a big hit around here. My gas/dutch oven cooker uses lots of oil and opec ain't lowered them prices.

actually, open oil prices are at their lowest in years, that is why the stock market is tanking

    opec, not open

Not an air fryer but for small batches we've been impressed with this little deep fryer. Presto® CoolDaddy® cool-touch deep fryer

Uses very little oil if you don't overload it and give it time to get back up to temp between batches. The fillets come out perfect, not soggy at all. I even turned out a batch of perfect onion rings which I've always had trouble getting right. Picked one up for $30 over Christmas.

I have not used the air fryer...I will tell you I use a cast iron skillet instead of the pot many times.Does not take as much oil and works just as good or better unless your just frying for a large crowd.
