    Default Ultralight Rod and Reel

The last thread title on ultralight rods and reels looks to be 3 years old. I was considering an 6' 6" ultralight Browning Air Stream ($60) with a Pflueger President 6920 ($50) to cast light jigs for crappies and other panfish.
    Any thoughts?

Also take a look at the BPS Microlite rods. Nice ultralite rods for the money. Can't beat that reel.
