    Default BIG OLE MOON

sure was looking bright saturday night ,,,,made me wanna ,,,,told my bud ,,,,maybe early ?
we could get there about 5 am and be gone by 9 ....and still make church .....
the feed bag was on and so where a bunch of different mouths to feed
we floated around up in a creek and enjoyed the wildlife .
deer turkey birds and etc ....
along with some of the ever elusive crappie
and yes i think the word is out on that spot as well ......
matched the hatch we did and fiddled around in the brush ....
.....and NO i dint keep them fish ....
my bud is stocking up for a church fish fry though ....
and he did ....and there ya have it ....
9 to 6 foot of water and everyone was hunkered up in laydowns
bit a variety of different baits and ....
they hit thru out the water column from about 2 foot down to the bottom in the brush
shad were up in there heavy and so were a lot of sunday am anglers
they were biting when we got there in the dark
and they were still biting when we left ....

thanks for the reads and comments ....
that spot has a legendary reputation for being all that from around October till late spring/early summer ....
sometimes it really is and sometimes it aint ...
but with the water levels up this year, its been extra good to most of the folks visiting it
