    Default Lake Talquin tallahassee Going out at sunrise


    Newbie going out this morning at sunrise looking for a local to give me some tips. Trolling ten poles with jigs, most with 1/16 pink heads with various colored bodies but most with char. sparkle curly tails.

    sounds like a good set up to start with. run the rods at different depths. testing to see where the fish are hanging at. good luck

    The main head colors I use are black, Chartreuse, pink, white, and plain. Green and yellow sometimes. Don't forget to run some straight tails along with the curlies. The fish will tell you which body colors they want.

    When we were there in October doublr rig with 1/16oz and a couple extra pieces of shot got it down deep enough to get em in the main channel. Acid rain and bubblegum/chartreuse were good colors. We fished down towards the dam.
