    Default Spider rigging weight?

Hey guys I was wondering what weights yall use? I've been using 3/8 weights fishing up to 10ft deep. Do I need heavier weight or less weight for this time of year? Thanks

I use 1/2 oz and thinking of going to 3/4. Using four 16 foot Crappie max, and two BNM14 foot PST.

1/4 or 3/8 in less than 6ft, 1/2 oz down to 12 ft then 3/4 to 1 oz depending on the wind.

Let's say I'm fishing with a 1/2oz 7ft deep and the wind picks up in the afternoon do I need to bump up to a 3/4oz even though I'm fishing no deeper than 7ft?

THE PURPOSE OF THE WEIGH IS TO KEEP THE BAIT STRAIGHT DOWN,SO AS SMALL AS U CAN USE AND KEEP THE WEIGHT DOWN,MORE WEIGHT FOR A FASTER SPEED AND DEEPER WATER TO KEEP JIG STRAIGHT UNDER BOAT WHILE MOVING

Ok thanks. I've mainly been using 3/8 and 1/2 and haven't been fishing deeper than 10ft.
