    Default Trolling Jigs Question

Guys I'm trying to get a general idea of when the season for trolling jigs for crappie is...I'm sure people do it all year long but I have a product I'm thinking about coming out with, looking for a time frame. I'm guessing spring is a good bet?

Pre-spawn period, when the fish are scattered &/or on the move, would be the earliest initial period for long line trolling ... IMHO. But, yeah ... even that would depend on the region you're fishing in, the dynamics of the lake, weather trends, and water conditions.

You got us wondering what it is. I say no time like the present. Someone else may put it out before you, if they have the same idea.

Anytime...as long as the water is above 50* I am long lining jigs. We caught these Friday in Lake Oconee in Middle Georgia long lining double rigged BG Baby Shads and Southern Pro Hot Grubs. Water temps were 53-55*
