    Default Need some ideas

Now that winter is here I need some ideas on fixing up the boat. If you fixed up your compartments to hold the plastic trays or poles, or did some neat lighting on the boat shoot us some pictures so we can see what you did. Any other cool ideas let us know.

Check out Tink's post on the lighting he put on his boat, looked pretty good.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

    Mark,

We like to keep clutter to a minimum so we installed the Rig Rite cargo netting up in the bow. Really like how it keep everything contained......... we're also thinking about fabbing up a piece of stainless w/ drilled holes for crankbait storage, moreso when we are pushing/pulling and want to switch out colors continuously. That way the boxes only come out once to start and once to put away.

Robbie, Those look good. I need to install one of those so when I take off nothing flies out of the boat. Thanks.

Came across this post, I installed these RigRite cargo nets recently in my boat. Super easy to install, there is never enough storage in a boat so these are certainly a welcomed addition.

I also added three things to the stern.....a in line fuel filter being one. I also added a "bulkhead" (for lack of a different name) to make sure the grandkids could safely fish being number one concern, secondly it keeps any wave splashes from entering the boat and lastly it made a great place to add 4 rod holders......as well as a decal to promote my business. This "bulkhead" was salvaged from a friends scrapped out pontoon, just a little fabricating and it looks like a factory intended part of the boat.

Man I can't wait to get the pontoon over from central IL so I can start adding my own touches to it, rod racks and holders, lighting and whatever else I think will help me fishing and pulling the grandkids around.
