High Water

This pic was yestiddy. Today I secured the gangplank to the floating dock(just in case). Wind was up and water like to beat me to death when I went out to the dock in my Jon Boat. Water is over the walkway rails now. Plenty of trash has washed up in the yard.

Tom, if it was April you could be catching redears in your yard again. Looks like it will crest at 366.9 tomorrow and start back down. Water looks amazingly clear from that pic.

Water is fairly clear, but lots of trash floating about. If it wasn't so windy, I would have went for a putt putt ride to check stuff out in West Sandy. Water was spilling slowly over the dam at the Springville pump house. The dam is breached at 365, but there was no strong water rush over the dam because the dewatering area was full to the brim. I wouldn't venture out on the main river though.

A few duck hunters were in the dewatering area, but no ducks around here.

I have seen the high water in this area many many times.
