    Smile BG Slab Slayer Colors

Looking to restock my tackle box for spring and was wondering what colors you would recommend
for LOZ (probably same as Truman). What has worked best for you and was it a 2 or 3 inch SSlayer? Thanks for help, I appreciate it.

Make sure to pick up a pack of the BG minnow mind'r in the silverfish color. I used them at both LOZ and Truman Lake. You might check and see if the slab slayers come in that color.

The ol' "Jarred Special" is a standard - Chartreuse with silver flake tail. 3"
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

If it goes like my tackle whatever color I do not have is what they are biting on. But it does seem to me natural colors LOZ and for Truman the brighter and bolder colors. But you have to have black and chartreuse.

I prefer something dark/chartreuse most of the time. Colder water (jan-mar), I've had decent success with electric chicken. Unless the water is crystal clear, then blue ice. Spawn time - I don't think it matters. Throw a bare hook and they'd probably hit it. But I probably go back to darkcolor/chartreuse. Fall,,, back to blue ice or maybe white/chartreuse.
For size, look at the shad. I use a lot of 3" baits from summertime on. Not to say I don't go back to 2" now and then.
