    Default Perch

With all my home waters being jacked up, I decided to head up to a small mountain lake to do some panfishing. I am convinced that the sunfish have developed some stealth tatics that sonar can't find them. Searched half the morning without finding any schools. Finally marked a couple on the bottom and dropped a drop shot down. Got 2 nice perch then no more. Ended up finding a small school up shallow in 4 FOW holding in the grass in the shade. Landed some and missed just as many. Overall it was a good day. First time on the lake and we worked it until we figured out a pattern.

They are Cuz to the Walleye and mighty tasty. I fish up there in Seed lake a good bit and I have caught a ton of these Yellow Perch.

First trip was planned for seed but it is running over the banks and trashed out. Caught these at Winfield Scott. Was targeting trout and bream but these were the only thing biting.
