    Default G3 2011 boat

Looking at new boats and today I came across a new 2011, yep, 2011 Eagle 174. I believe this boat is very similar to today's 176. Equipped with Yammy F70, 55 pound MinnKota and entry level electronics.
I like all the storage and design of the boat. I figured since it was a 2011 it would be a great price. Dealer wants $17k which is way over what I was expecting. Interested if anyone would share what they paid for similar boat in 2011.

I checked nada.com and they do not show an Eagle 174 in 2011. They show a few Eagle 176s but no 174s.

Around 20,000 new. Around 14000. Average retail.

For an Eagle 176 15 K$ is about the top of the range. NADA says between 14.5 and 14.8 K$. Add the electronics and 15K$ is about right. 17K$ is a bit of a stretch. *** BUT *** - NADA is an average of prices. There are times and places that the prices listed may be very high or very low. I would check the For Sale sites to see what similar boats are bringing in your area, but make sure you are looking at a boat from a dealer, as there is a value in a dealer sale that is absent in a sale from an individual. The dealer should have gone through the boat and "freshened" up things like batteries and such that an individual most likely will not do.

If you end up with the boat make sure you post some pictures.

    I wouldn't give him a penny over 15.
