Default double jig on long line trolling ?

I been long linning a long time but always pulled one jig on each pole. How do yall tie the jigs on? Double loop on both jigs? How far apart?

I run mine between 2' and 3' apart. Double Surgeon loop on both. If running 2 different weight jigheads put the heavy jig on top so it runs deeper and wont tangle the trailing line. I typically put a 1/16 roadrunner on about 2-3' up line with 2" hot grub or slider then tie a 1/32 jighead on tag with either a Stroll'R or a Slabiliscous.

I usually have 18-24" between mine, heavier jig on top.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

3ft between jigs. Weight determined by fish depth. I like using double jigs more than singles. If a single 1/16th jig will get you to the fish, I will run (2) 1/32 jigs. You can put out more colors to determine which one the fish want faster and I can double up on fish sometimes.
Fishing is like pizza.......Even when it's not that good, it's still pretty good!
