I caught a 15" crappie on a 1/32 oz jig head bought here this weekend. It's an occasional worry that I will miss a big one on a lite wire hook but it has not been the case. I believe the advantages of less retying and more time in the water are greater than anything you'd gain by using the stronger hooks. Now - I have no problem believing a 5lb channel might bend me out but I'm not exactly after them.

Thanks for the good comments......I don't advertise much because I stay as busy as this hobby (job) will allow. Several things I do: 1. Try not to paint the barb....Paint makes the barb little slicker and jigs tend to pull off easier. 2. I inspect all hooks to be sure the eye (where you tie the Jig) is closed.....if not sometimes you come back with just the loop. 3. Always send additional samples to help with shipping. 4. Got just about any kind of hook (Crome, Black and Red Crome, Gold, and of course Litewirehooks). 5. If you want special color or eye color....usually can handle. 5. Always clean out the eyes where you tie on the jig......This a no brainer....hate to be fishing and can't tie on hook because the eye has paint. I'm retired and do eyerything myself.....I'm not perfect but if I want fish with it......I don't sell........Just let me know.......enjoy talking about Crappie Fishing.
