    Default Black Friday...... Shopping,fishing or decorating?


    We tried shopping many years ago on this day and said to heck with that. We will be decorating for Christmas and maybe fishing a little.

    I'll be cooking fresh deer backstrap at our Daughter's family home for breakfast then supper with my Mom's family. Plan on getting the boat out mid-day to try it out for the maiden voyage.

    I have always loved Thanksgiving more than any other holiday because the family all get to be together with none of the trappings of Christmas. It is sad to see that our family seems to get smaller each year due to the loss of members.
