I have found the best site for temperature of Kentucky Lake is the Hancock Biological Station site, where they give both surface and bottom temp.

I find it interesting that the site you posted and the Kentucky Lake dot COM site vary by more than a foot.

I use this one : Louisville District Daily Lake Report since it has most of the lakes that I normally fish. Otherwise, I look up a website (marina or guide service) for the remaining lakes that I only fish occasionally, as they usually have the current conditions/levels listed.

I also have the KDFWR Daily Lake Report phone numbers that I can call & get lake levels & surface temps.

NOTE : all temps are taken at the dams of these lakes, unless otherwise stated. Surface & water column temps will vary at other points on the lakes.

Another good site that I put on phone iPad etc Tva lake info U can download app Tells discharge rates current levels by the hour etc foe the lakes that they manage Including ky, Barkley etc I check discharge rates while on water white bass fishing in summer alot

I like this one. It is more "real time" and has many lakes and streams.
