Default Sam Heaton Super Sensitive balance question

Just purchased a Sam Heaton Super Sensitive bottom reel seat 10' rod and although I like the rod overall I find that it's tip heavy. Have any of you had that complaint? Have any of you attempted to balance the rod by putting weight in the rod handle. Seems to me it would take a good bit of weight to do that. If it matters, I will be using this rod for single rod jigging and have a spinning reel on this rod.

    Thanks for your input.

I have the same rod with a small (not micro) spinning reel, and the balance seems fine to me.....right about where the cork cutout is located.

I also have a ten footer and have a Mr. Crappie Solo reel on it. I use it mostly for flipping jig to shallow cover and around structure and love it. I fish all day long with it without my hand and arm getting tired.
