Default Sam Heaton Super Sensitive balance question

Just purchased a Sam Heaton Super Sensitive bottom reel seat 10' rod and although I like the rod overall I find that it is tip heavy. Have any of you had that complaint? Have any of you attempted to balance the rod by putting weight in the rod handle. Seems to me it would take a good bit of weight to do that. If it matters, I will be using this rod for single rod jigging and have a spinning reel on this rod.

    Thanks for your input.

X2, Although even with no reel on it. I have Never found a SHSS to be tip heavy? If there is a rod with a lighter tip than a Heaton. I would like to see it.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
