The first thumper of the day, with the fog in the background. Pretty kool pic.
What a beautiful morning regardless of the foggy beginning. Water temps started out around 54.1 and ended nicely at 56.0 degrees.
What we need in this end of the state is a weatherman that can actually give accurate forecasts. Since I was holding a fishing rod, the wind blew steady out of the southwest most of the day. With river rising, fish seemed scattered and holding tight to structure. Bounced several colors around to end up with a decent mess. Caught a lot of shorts, bluegill and white bass as well.
All in all, a nice end of season and wrap up before duck season starts in 9 days.
Here are a couple of nice western Ky Ohio River slabs!
