I got addicted to painting jigs last year. I painted 2000 of 'em before I slowed down. I got pretty good at it. Not a way to make a living though. haha

Burnt out an old compressor in the process.

Let's face it. We all like screwing around with stuff.

Cane Pole, you should have tried the powder paint. Very simple and fast. Just head the head for 5-7 seconds with a lighter, dip it in the powder and hang it up. Dries rock hard in just a few minutes.

I tried it. My hands not too steady. Had globs of paint everywhere. Burnt the crap out of myself too.

I do spray powder paint my jigs with airbrush. Shaking hands didn't matter, in fact it helped. They come out pretty good. I paint my model parts this way now. Again, shaky hands helped.

Something for an "old man" to do.

Where do you get the powder paint? I'm thinking about giving that a try.
