Default Blustery day at the LOZ

Launched at Coffman early and thought I would hammer em before the front came through but I guess most of the fish I threw at were on a hunger strike. I did end up with 12 and lost a few, but it was a grind for me today. I was missing some fish bc of the 10 ft bow in my line at times. Best bite for me was casting over or minnow dipping shallow brush. I was fishing from Coffman to the back of Indian Creek. Thanks to all the Veterans for my freedom to fish!!!

It had to be a tough day with the wind. Thanks for the report.

I live in this area and fish almost every day. We aren't finding crappies in any numbers. Fish brush piles exclusively. One or two nice fish per pile, if we're lucky, then on to the next pile. Surprised you tried yesterday; watched the only bass boat I saw all day almost get swamped.

It was a little rough but the wind was not blowing into Indian Creek to bad. You are right they are not stacked up yet, but when the water gets into the 50's I think that will change. Seems right now you have to hit 10 or 15 spots to maybe get a limit...but I am not throwing many back so the size is decent.
