Default Ketchn gets a spanking ?

Yes I did from the 2 other spots I hit yesterday for the crappie .....best fish was a bass and only managed one tiny this year crappie . And then them darn piggies I want are smart and nocturnal and don't want a truck ride to the meat locker . Heck I got em right to the door a the piggy trap and they still dint get ketched .....DARNIT .....
The good news is I don't go down without a fight and I typically have me slightly concealed fall back plan . so I went after crappie I knew would fall victim to me and sure enough .....I was much happier after smacking about 75 of them ....and this one large channel cat wanted in on some a the action as well .....pretty fun stuff .
Saw lots of deer as usual and my bud across the river got him a nice ten point yesterday as well ....But no KABOOM for me .I just sat around and watched the deer and played with my private pond crappie .
used just GO GO minnows yesterday in chart and pearl under a flaot about 18 inches er so ....pooping it and dragging it and waiting for it to look "different" . any tilting or swaying or ticking or sinking or moving the wrong direction and ......
you know the drill KABOOM ....try to break that rod on the hook set ! lots of slack and wind and mono and long casts make this is a must if you want to get a hook actually in a fish ! released all the fish and let the deer do what the deer do as well .
no harvesting for me .....just playing round and getting schooled by the fish on a few public docks I was .
the good news is it aint near over and I will continue to chase them piggies .....
and them crappie fish on them public docks .
have a great day yawl ....

The Go Go minnow is flat out THE BEST curtail out there .....there is no doubt in my mind
nothing swims so effortlessly when moved at micro slow speeds .....
making this a DEADLY bait for a fish that like slow moving prey most of the time
and when I use it I hear the same ole thing .....what the heck are you using ?
mind you there are times fish don't want it just like the rest of the plastics
but when they want some action it is the best plastic bait out there ....
and thanks for the reads and comments yawl ....

thanks for the reads yawl and yes ....I am pretty sure these particular hogs are about as slick er slicker as a mature whitetail
there is a bunch of them but they are really difficult to ketch and or hunt ....
very nocturnal , very unpredictable and trap trained by the locals as well ....
makes it kinda hard to make them into sausage for sure ....
