Ooops! Please delete. Meant to post it in the TN section and will do so now.
Put in at 7am at Whitey's and headed over to Grooms pocket.
Found myself some 12ft water with stumps and started trolling with the wind that was a surprise out of the WNW. I had been expecting NW wind but par for the course the weatherman had it a bit wrong. Beautiful sunny skies though and a bit warm in the afternoon. Great weather.
Water was 58 in the morning and warmed to 60 by afternoon.
Spent the entire day slow trolling straight minnows just off the bottom with depths going from 10- 14ft with 12ft being the best.Started catching fish right away. On here and 2 there and before I knew it I had the makings of a great day.
I probably brought 35 or so to the boat and a quick eyeball in the cooler tells me I somewhere around 25 fish coming home..
Couple of really nice ones. 15 inches easy with the rest be fine quality eaters.
All the fish today seemed quite chunky. Really nice healthy fish.
I will get a cooler shot in the morning when I clean them but here is one all lit up and headed to the box.
