Default The Little Sac River arm Stockton Lake Mo.

Was pretty good today, found some fish out in the open water, close to brush, 35 ft of water but the fish were 10 ft. down or 25 ft up, depends on if your under or on the water.... Keefer,,,,
Brown/chartruse was the jig of choice, pitch and drift all day, well till 10 AM then the bite just shut off,,, not another boat on the water I seen, heard a couple big boats,,,,, nice day, little breezy at the end of the trip, but for Stockton it was not to bad...

Were you reeling up or just letting the wind drift the jig? Do you usually sit over the brush and fish vertical or cast over the brush? Seems the method your using could help me out at Purvis on the deep bluffs

I find the fish, move off them, pitch the jig, count to the number of feet I think the jig is at to be above the school. Ie 1/16 oz.jig 4 lb test line falls at 1 ft. per second, or close to that.... place the boat down wind... as for the brush when they are biting on the brush, I sit over the brush, or on the edge, fish the whole brush pile, the brush pile fishing is the way Rick and Jason taught me, and then they said use what we taught you and tweek it to your style,,, good luck

Nice mess of fish, but it looks like that bottle of crown is leaking...I'd certainly empty the rest in a drinking glass!!!
