    Default Wire Aberden Hooks

Does anyone have a place to get wire hooks, the ones that will actually bend out? I just can't seem to find any I like.

I use Eagle Claw #6 Light Wire Aberdeen Cricket Hooks. Walmart and Gander Mountain have them in packs of 50. They will straighten out enough to get un-hung with 8-pound Berkley XT most of the time.

I'm using 1/0 wire aberdeen hooks from Walmart. Wished I could find the 2/0 size in bronze but no can do!

    Thumbs up

Eagle Claw #6 Light Wire Aberdeen is what I use. After fishing with Jerry Blake at crappie camp, those are the way to go.

You can order some from Cabelas, L214EL I think is the #
Eagle Claw. The 214's are even a little lighter wire yet than the
202 regular Aberdeens. Only thing is lately, I've gotten "hung up" on
using red tru-turns, the 214's are bronze only, far as I've ever seen.

Go to www.grizzlyjig.com and you can order the eagle claw 214's. I buy them in a box of 1000. They are alot cheaper that way. Size 2.
