I tried the larger version of the Jelly jig you make today.
I got my line broke by one monster crappie .
I got my hook straightened out by yet another monster crappie . and they say .....
the third time is a charm and it was a 3 PACK ......
and those that know me know this Bob.
some of the fish today deserved a big FAT.....
    KABOOM

one thing for certain about them ....no nibbles were required and the fish were committed to hammering the fire out of them
I had a few hit like channel cats and run hard with them on the take ....and I mean like try to jerk the rod out of your hands
thanks for the reads and comments yawl .....
    and thanks again Bob ....

Thanks again sir , there are a lot of fishermen and women in this world that would love to hold up a crappie this size .
I am in that line myself . had the other half take a better photo of this one due to the extremeness of this particular fish. we most certainly don't see many of this quality around dfw and west of there .
this particular episode puts your bait up there in the it will ketch whales category
    and for sure
