    Default Smithville Improving?

Must be if I catch fish I've talked to a couple of guys who are doing well, so it must be true. I actually caught a limit, but it took me 3 days of fishing to do it. Most of my fish are coming out of brush in 15-20' of water. Had to really drop deep into the brush and bring lure up slow.

I fished from noon to dark today and only caught 1 keeper. Your doing better than me. I caught it in a brush pile in 10 ft of water. Still great to be out.

Awesome Vic! I went out boatless today after 5 and caught 8 good keepers along with some shorts and some big fat bass on crappie lures. Luckily I was using braid. I actually caught my fish fairly shallow on minnows until just after dark.

Nice job Vic! I got out yesterday and only managed a couple keepers and some shorts.

I caught most of my fish deeper than 10', and sometimes I would drop all the way to the bottom and start up slowly. Some bites were those that you don't really feel....the line just gets heavy.
