Default Anyone Have Any Fillets to Ship?

Just cooked up the last of the 2006 harvest last night. Now the temps are in the teens and it looks like 3 more months until crappie season. Maybe we could start our own fish market on this site. Hey the meat markets ship all the time - why not us?

Too cold and the waters too high here. Gotta move south.

Thinking of moving to VA. What lakes do you fish at?

What state you live in that you can't get fish year round? It's 25 degrees outside and I'm going out to dress a mess now. Of course with all the flood water ,they were caught in a net. Several Buffalo and a Flathead Catfish.:D

Get you a good pair of coveralls and go after them. We fish year round. We have been out there before when you have to keep dipping the rod in the water to defrost the eyes:D

Got to warm the eyes up with my fingers from time to time to get the ice off but it's always Crappie fishing time in Oklahoma.

Oh I've been out in the cold this year; but not even a nibble. Now with all the rain, my lake is 30 ft higher than summer pool levels.

    Is it April yet?

I'm not so sure about a fish market. I know a guy who just got busted trading crappie for shrimp, $19000.00 later, he can't fish in Mississippi any more. Just lucky he got to keep his boat and truck. H*** for that fine he could eat steak.... a bunch of it!
