Phone call from Skiptomylu--update

Skip called a few minutes ago from Texas...He can't access Crappie.com from the computers there so he asked me to post an update on his son.

Randy had surgery on Friday...This operation centered around the buttock area. ...Skip said the results were remarkable....Seeing what the doctors faced and then having this kind of result was simply due to the power of prayer. Randy will have to lie on his stomach for 2 weeks.. Skip wanted me to pass along to each of you his appreciation for all the support you have given his family.

There is one negative that Skip mentioned....The doctors first thought the burns from Randy's knees to his ankles were 2nd degree, but now have determined they are 3rd degree...There will be more surgery for this..

The positive note is that they were told in Germany that Randy probably would not walk again...Then the doctors said he could possibly walk again but with a wobble...Now they are saying that he should recover completely and walk normally...

I think you will all agree that this is great news....

We all need to contiue to pray for Randy's full and total recovery. Prayer does work. Thanks for the update.

I wish there was more we could do. I just hope everyone is passing all there thoughts and prayers on to this family. Make sure your son knows we are all thinking of him.

Thanks for the update. I've been wondering how they were doing. Indeed, wonderful news! A full recovery!! It still puts a perspective on how much rehab and surgery and pain is left for them to go through. Skip, his son and his family remain in our prayers.

thank god that he is going to recover,there is a plan for each one of us,it's just that we dont know what it is,there is a reason for every thing.glad to hear he is doing better and will be back to hammering those slab's with you skip
