Default Small pond and Nice size crappie

sure why not .......18 to 24 inches under a float .....midday
EARTHWORMS ...aka red wigglers on a 1/64 jighead number 8 hook .....
mind ya you will most likely ketch everything in the pond
and quite possibly git your line broke along the way
but the good news is that in the mix .....
just might be some nice size crappie

lots of places its the ONLY way to git bit .........
tiny baits and EVEN earthworms will frequently slay them when a traditional crappie bait wont git bit .....
I tossed a really pretty jig at them many times yesterday and it wasn't what they wanted ......
so once again ,,,,never say never
and NEVER forget this ....sunfish will be sunfish

some of the spots I visit that hold crappie the mighty earthworm is the ticket . I know of 3 for sure and there may others just like them out there
the one thing these spots have in common is they are not large and don't have a lot of the normal baitfish in them
