Large/extra large gnats?

Been using various gnats on my top line when spider rigging. The bait shop sometimes runs out of large or extra large minnows and I'd like to make my bait bigger when smaller minners are available. Was thinking that a larger gnat (same size hook just longer hair material) would help and this line of thinking "larger bait discourages smaller fish".

I have been using Arkie minnow teasers and crappie Logic gnats. Can these be ordered with longer hair material so I can cut to desired length? Also, what about custom colors...Any suggestions?

Whatever I tie I use the ends of the hair/feather/fiber for the best action which is what you would cut off when you trimmed for length. Just input, and our fish where I lived in TN (just moved back here) sometimes didn't react as well to bigger baits. Hope you find what you need. Visit the tying forum and get some opinions there also and maybe get someone to tie a few "Magnum" gnats for you to try.
