Lake Patoka, In

Anyone out there ever fish Lake Patoka, Indiana? Don't have time to pre fish for kayak tournament due to work. But trying to figure out good part of lake to put attack plan together. I know it's like asking for a good shroom woods lol, but it is what it is! Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Tight lines friends!

I fished it a few years ago Don't remember much but I caught fish vertical jigging standing timber. I will try to find my maps for more info.

Something all fisherman need to know that nobody has brought up. There is a $25.00 lake use permit you have to buy beside your license. You can bet the local DNR will be writing tickets for those who don't find out.

FYI you will need a DNR launch permit nonmotorized permits are $5 motorized $25 you should be able to gets permits at the dnr lake office or online and permit has to displayed on craft

if you get it at the office you can use it right away, if you order it on line you have to wait for it to come in the mail, takes about a week to 10 days, mine did. OH and DON"T go on the water without it.

Thanks for all the info, and I will definitely not go on water without it! Hopefully unlike my useless state the money goes for up keep of lake. Never bothers me to pay a fee for the opportunity to enjoy myself.
