2015 Championship Lake Conway



1st Place – Greg London and Russ Clarke 5.86

2nd Place Jason and Jim Westerberg 3.14

3rd place Chris Johnson and Lamar Bunting 1.64

4th Place Chris Chandler and Kyle Dines 1.27

5th thru 13th had no fish.

This was one of the toughest tournaments for the club this season! Lake Conway was drawn in a random drawing at the championship meeting we gave everyone 10 days to prefish and from the start of prefishing everyone was finding a very tough bite several teams reported no keeper crappie during practice then even worse we had a strong cold front move in on Thursday and it shut down the bite totally!! On tournament day we had a strong 15-20mph wind out of the north which is the worst wind you can ever have for Lake Conway being a lake that runs north to South. Thank you to the 13 teams that showed up despite the conditions and thank you to everyone that came to weigh in!!
1st Place team of Greg London and Russ Clarke had a great payday wining a check from B’n’M pole company of $500, a check from the club for $875 and they also won big fish and for the tournament Bartlett manufacturing sponsored $500 for big fish which Greg and Russ received as well!! Plus they won the Club point’s race for 2015 and they each received a gift certificate from the club and Grizzly Jig Company for $125 to Grizzly jig company great job guys!!! 2nd Place team of Jason and Jim Westerberg received a check for $495 plus another check for second big fish of $130!! . 3rd place team of Chris Johnson and Lamar Bunting won a check for $330!! 4th Place team of Chris Chandler and Kyle Dines won a gift bag each with several items from Bradford marine, Lake Fork, Rod Sox, Charlie Brewer Slider, and Fish n Stuff!!!
