dang . nice one
Got on the water at 7am and loaded back up by noon. Caught several shorts, bluegill, slimers and brought home 2 slabs.
The biggest here weighed in at 2lbs even. She hit the ole jig like a jack hammer, and ran like a large mouth. Did the jump and tail wiggle dance before I got the net under her and scooped her up.
Water temps were holding steady between 84-85 degrees. Scanned a lot of fish in structure, worked many piles from the top down trying to entice them but it was a no go most of the time.
Well worth the trip today for feeling that ole "Thumpage".
dang . nice one
