Everyone breaking out their ice fishing gear?

Going to have to get some new blades for the auger, been rusting away in the corner for a few years. Between the wind and now ice, mother nature sure don't want me chasing crappie very hard:o .

So how thicks the ice got to be to get you all out there on it? Me, I've got to see a lot of people out there before I venture onto the frozen wastelands. Good luck. Charlie B.

For us the rule of thumb is to have 4 STRAIGHT days of 20 degree F or less. Thought for a while we was gonna miss another one but from the looks of things a person might be able to get on the ice towards the end of next week.
