    Default Bed location question

When putting out beds, Is It better to locate them on the inside or outside edge of a channel bend? What if there is a flat adjoining either bend, Does this make for a better spot?
    Thanks

Flat is the key. Which ever side has a flat on it then that is the best side. If there is flat after you go around an inside channel bend then they will use the point that is created by the inside bend as a highway to the flat. This will be a good spot depending on the depth of the flat and seasonal tendencies of crappie on your water. In other it may work all year long or only different times of the year. CF
