Default Where to find nice bluegills in Memphis area?

Is there anywhere within a hour of Memphis to catch some quality Gills. All the places I fish have 3/4/5" gills and no Ears. I fish both state lakes here, they are overstocked. Please help!

    tunica cutoff when it's right
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Don't know if spelling is right but need to try Wappanoca over in Arkansas.

Haven't been there in a few years, but for most of my life Poplar Tree lake in Shelby Forest has had high quality bream. Any of the oxbows I've fished have big bream, particularly Tunica.

Thanks folks, I just love to catch big blue gills. After fishing today, it looks like next spring for brim!!!
