Question for Crappiepappy

I threw away the magazine I had with the information on the Mercury Optimax motors. I remember you telling me the weight of the 90hp and it matched what the magazine listed. I checked the Mercury outboard website and it didnt match, I dont remember the exact weight, but I dont think it was the same. Do you remember what is was?

yeah ... sorry - been fighting Strep Throat the last few days.

Let's see if I can find those weights for Merc 90's ........ ahhh yes :

90HP Opti-max .... 375lbs (dry weight) - Merc website listing

90HP Opti-max .... 360lbs (dry weight) - 2004 Merc brochure

I really don't know why there's a 15lb discrepancy in these two listings .... that may be a question better asked to the Mercury folks :D !!
