Question about Okuma Magda reels

Saw Vonna's post about her new reels. Mine have several hundreds of hours on them. I am just now experiencing some issues with the line counter buttons sticking. I have to make sure I check that the button came back up before casting or playing line out. Anybody got a quick fix for this? If it is a lube issue, what should I use on the counter mechanism?

I spray mine down regular with Blakemores Reel-Magic.....It is made to spray the whole reel line and all....I wet it down good and work the buttons and the lever. The first time something trys to stick....I spray it down....problem solved. You can get this at Wal-Mart......It will keep your seat pedistals from squeeking too.

I consider the okuma's disposable. I get about two seasons and toss them when they start malfunctioning.
