My trolling rods are medium action..8.5ft telescopic handle..rated for 10-20lb line..I use 10# mono. Most of my trolling is w/inline boards, they will long line equally well. If you want specifics, ask away. 5
Those of you who pull cranks what type rod do you use. Not brand names but what length, weight, and action.

4 driftmaster t-bars systems. Adjust the individual rod holders on the bars. Push 4 up front and pull 6 out back. However, pulling and pulling un-tangled are 2 different things! Lol

Mostly, when pulling longline, I use a pair of each, 8's, 10's, and 12's, all BGJP's. Pushing I use, a pair of each in 6'6" triggers, 9' Wally marshall Med Heavy, and 11' wally marshall Med Heavy. When doing both I use 4 up front and the 6 out the rear sides. If I go straight out the back O use 4 @ 6'6" and whatever else I feel I can manage with the skill level of my guest.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
7.5-9.0 ft long, varies brands all moderate action, power rating doesn't really matter as long as line test goes from 8 or 10 lb to 17+ lb (most are medium or medium heavy (with a few ML and few H) but power ratings are very arbitrary).
