What a day on smithville

Got in the lake today right at first light and headed for the second w bridge. Started off just right with 2 keepers fishing right next to pillars. Then for the next 30-40 minutes or so. It was all white bass ALL FREAKIN OVER THE PLACE. I have never seen so many bass in one area. Every where you looked there where white bass popping shad. I was double jigging it so every cast I was bringing in 2 at a time. I started off with a ultra light and had to stop to tie on jigs on my medium tackle. I got off the lake with 6 crappie and 6 bass. There was a ton of white bass. I could had brought home countless limits of bass, there Just was not a lot of size to them. But it was a rush none the less.

wow sounds fun man! i got your comment on my post and hoping ill be able to catch some today when i get out on the lake today at 7pm! ill be fishing under the bridge to then i guess. really hoping its the right bridge you were fishing at!
