ibmack is correct !! I'd venture to say that 90% of my jig plastics have chartreuse on them, somewhere !!

While I don't use blk/char very much, blue/char - green/char - and solid chartreuse are usually the first ones placed on a jighead. It just seems to create a good contrast, regardless of whatever other color is on the bait ... and IMHO, contrast allows your bait to get seen in a wide variety of water clarity conditions.

My favorite bait is Purple metal flake with Chartruse tail tube jig. The one I use is 2'' called an
umbrella tube but sometimes I use 2.5 '' Walleye tube in solid chartruse . You can use them in any color water but Chartruse works best in off colored water , deep , or low light conditions . The glow baits like the Walleye tubes are really good when these conditions are making it hard for fish to see the bait and larger profile probably displaces more water making easier for fish to feel as well as see the bait . The fish can detect sligtest movement in the water with their lateral lines .IMO

I fish at Lake Lanier. The north part which is at upstream Chattahoochee River side, is muddy, and the main lake has aqua-blue colored water, similar to Caribbean Sea.

Friends, it would be great if I can get some advice about what are the colors will work good in aqua-blue colored water. I do bank fishing from pier, so at full pool water depth is maxiamm 10' or so.

No sir, I have been using live minnow. Never used any sort of jig for crappie. Only time I have used any lure so for was for trout fishing with spinning rod, also I use spinning rod with weighted streamers to catch trout (don't have fly rod).
I have bought different color crappie tube jig from Bass Pro Shop. I am trying to learn and I know I have a long way to go.

    Thanks

Whenever someone says they want to learn jigs, I post this. Everything you need to know is right here, and it works with any jig.

There is a time and a place to use chartreuse when fishing for crappies. Anytime......and anyplace! Never leave home without it.

DB4D (DeathB4disco) hit it on the head with the post of how to jig fish. Everyone should read the link he provided.
