Welcome to CDC from Kentucky. Worm oil is what the manufacture's use. Pam ,canola oil or vegetable oil works ok. I use worm oil with a little shad essence. I put them in a baggie and massage the oil in. Just a few drops at a time is how I do it. There is a DIY plastic forum on here incase you missed it. Lots of great guys on here with a ton of info. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/jig-t...-making-forum/

I have found that it is best to leave them in the packs they come in . I used to take them out and put them the tackle box till I learn better.

When I have them available, I generally try to throw in about a half a dozen to a dozen "bulk" plastics in my orders to my customers. I generally use Slab Slobber to soak / ship / revitalize the plastics that I send to my customers. It does two things, it keeps them moist and makes them attract crappie even more.

    Hope it helps,

    Bobo

A fellow on BBC referred me here. I was trying to sell
a Lowrance 27C on there, and he suggested this site.
Cant believe I had heard of it before. Larry
