    Default Arkie Panfish Creature

Anyone fish these regularly? I have a few packages to try but just curious as to how you all typically fish them?

Size: 128.1 KB I've been fishing these similar baby beavers from bass pro lately. I rig them on a jig head and usually cast and retrieve at a speed that works for attracting a bite. Sometimes I give a little bit of action by flicking the rod too if it seems to be helping. They work great though.

Put them on a jig head and fish them like you would any other soft plastic bait
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Are any of you using them in your spider rig setup or just mainly single pole fishing?

I haven't used the arkie model but I have caught some good sized slabs on creature style plastics. I used the yum version and grizzly. I'm sure the arkie will work. I fish them under a float and on a jig head in deeper water.

Bluesraider, here are a couple of variations to fish these creature baits. Hope this helps all who fish these style of baits.

Like "G" said, stick it on a jig head, and fish it like a plastic bait. Spider rigging, cast and retrieve, brush under a bobber. Its all good. This style, with the bait flat, makes for a great slow-fall floppy tail action.

As an alternate method, try rigging it "side ways" This makes a faster action, swim bait style, presentation.

One of my all-time favorite ways to fish this little guy is with a Spinner. Small enough lure that big bluegill will grab it, but large enough to get big ole crappie, bass, catfish, even stripers interested. Works as a great fish finder in the spring and fall when fish are coming shallow.

    Hope you catch a bunch!
