Always good to give this generation the opportunites that were given to us. Never hurts to introduce a child to the outdoors.
We all should take the time to reach and teach our youth about fishing before it is too late. They are all eager to learn. Don't make it boring but just reach out to them and show them a few knots and lures to help them catch some fish. They will be very interested with whatever you are showing them. I prefer jigs for Crappie or Bluegills over live baits which must be kept alive; however, live baits do have their place. Jigs are so versatile and can be brought to life by slow drifting, trolling, casting, dragging, pitching, vertical jigged and the great slip float method. Check out this and more on LURES BY CARTER

I love see kids catch fish so I always take some Catfishing each summer . Nothing hard about Catfishing except the fight . On our baited holes the action can be fast and furious enough so they don't get bored .
