    Default Crappie Bed

How does this design look? http://www.crappie.com/gr8vb3/attach...1&d=1168557350http://www.crappie.com/gr8vb3/attach...1&d=1168557925
I made these so they will collapse and be easier to put out. The whole thing will fold up . 8 white oak sticks , (5) 1/4 " bolts and 1 large sheet of thick plastic . The size is 6' X 6'. It only takes 1 concrete block !!

    mduncan62,
Tanks for the comment . I made the design with 90 degree angles so the angled sheets would fit in different places. I haven't thought of all the possibillities yet. Just started this idea!! Weather has been windy so I been doing a little homework. Where you fishin ?

    looks pretty good but
they might not hold in windy areas or on any slope or current
wings will catch alot of water
calm areas it should work great

Default They would not last on my lake

those woden arms will have a hook inbedded very quickly by someone and they would pull up the entire structure. Need to be PVC of some sort of metal that will not let a hook penetrate.

It kinda looks like one of those flying machines you see in those old home movie clips when man was trying to invent the airplane. Ill bet it'll hold crappie though!

Better set still over the top, as I can see moving back and forth a lot of hang ups. Should keep fish though.
