    Default Bandit 100 Problem

I have been using bandit 100's in the morning and shifting to 300's after the sun gets up and hot. I have the 100's in a plano elite box. I was looking at the lures changing colors and saw what i thought were scratches are actually the paint splitting. These lures are not old and a couple have not even been in the water. I hope bandit will make good on their lures. Anyway I would keep them out of the sun especially in a clear plastic box.Click image for larger version.

I keep mine in plano boxes as well but keep the plano boxes in an old soft sided cooler the majority of the time, and I have not noticed any splitting on mine.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I am pretty sure someone had the same problem last summer. Sure someone will chime in with the real story.

I have left baits I have painted and sealed with epoxy out in full sun for days at a time while fishing with no problems. Sounds like they have a clear-coat issue.

My boat and tackle stay in my garage when not on the water.

I keep mine in a clear plastic box but I cover the box with duct tape. Never had a problem and when we troll it's daylight till dark most of the time in direct sun.

I paint my box tops with white paint for plastic. They get extremely hot in direct sun light. I have never seen my crank baits do that though. Curious what Bandit says??

    Swelling

    Keep out of sun

Best to use soft side ice chest for baits

I talked to Steven at Bandit and they are going to replace the lures. I am going to paint the boxes white.
