    Default Shooting Docks

Had to wait till 10:00 before the rain slowed down to get out. The rain did not stop the tubers, they were out in full force. No fish in the coves, had to fight the waves on the main channel to catch the fish. Water temperature 83.5, perfect for swimming when it is 95 degrees. Let the big one go and clean six for fresh fish tacos for tonights dinner. All fish where caught on Bobby Garland minnow mindr in the silver fish color. (Chartruse-silver) This is my favor color for any lake I fish.
I also caught 2 cats and 2 green carp. Too many party boats out by noon so I got off the lake.

Sounds like a great mid morning trip. That Silver Glitter/Chart is hard to beat. I have that combo in about 6 name brand baits and have it custom poured in another 6-8 bait styles.

Good report Mark!!! Glad you got some.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Measure em - If you and I were fishing in the same boat for crappie we could probably win a bass tournanment or catfish tournament
