The 2015 Youth Bass tournament was held at the Carroll County 1000 Acre Lake (Tennessee) today. Present were Junior High and High School fisherboys and fishergirls from across the nation.

Brenda and I were the only Crappie Reps present for the weigh in that I am aware of. That gold crappie fish on the back of my truck window sticks out just fine in a crowd.

There were some large fish pulled from this small lake. In fact, one was over 12 pounds and caught by a Jr High kid. It is at present the largest bass caught by any BASS member so far this year (including the pros).

It was real hot today, but we just enjoyed the kids excitement. The only people I knew from the large crowd were the local politicians and a couple of former students.

We enjoyed the show.

how big were the crappies ?? isee it a bass but crappies were caught

8-11 inchers. We gonna try it out this late fall or early winter whenever u show up.
