I don't own any, but I hear lotsa good things.
They're well-known on the west coast. LedHed (a CDC member from California) has some and likes them a lot. He usually posts on the Bream board, so maybe send him a PM.
Anybody here using them? I'm looking at the elixir's and hoping to hear some info from the members.

I have the 7 foot 2 piece with the split burl grip. I have owned it for 3 years. Yes it is a nice rod but a little too limber for me. I must preface that by saying those are my thoughts on the rod after buying rods out of Japan. The rod is well made and has great sensitivity. I caught a bunch of trout and Smallies with it...not to mention a lot of big Gills. Probably one of the best UL rods you can buy in the states.....unless you wanted to get the Iron Feather. Their warranty is a good one. I broke about 3 inches off the tip and they only charged me 30 bucks to replace that section of the rod. I don't really have anything bad to say about the rod......it was my favorite until I got my JDM rods.
Regards
